Meet Rabbi Lefkowitz

Rabbi Lefkowitz and his wife Debbie have been living in Orlando since 1994, where they established Congregation Beth Emeth. He brings with him over 30 years of spiritual leadership where he has been involved in all aspects of synagogue life including ritual, lifecycle events, education, and pastoral support.

Rabbi Lefkowitz was ordained from Tifereth Yisrael Rabbinical Yeshiva in New York and studied at Spertus College in Chicago, Illinois, and Talmudic University in Miami, Florida. He holds a Master’s Degree from Columbia University in Communication, Computing, and Technology in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Bernard M. Baruch College.

He had the good fortune of being able to reside for a brief period of time in Jerusalem. This experience afforded him the opportunity to strengthen his bond with his fellow Jews in our Holy Land, as well as the chance to enhance his Judaic knowledge through the many interpersonal experiences which he had while living in Israel. Rabbi Lefkowitz has also published a book entitled, Introduction to Judaism, as well as delivered numerous lectures on various topics of Judaism.
