Becoming a Member
Shalom! We are delighted that you are considering joining our synagogue! Joining our congregation is about more than affiliation, it’s about becoming part of a caring, multi-generational community rooted in Jewish tradition and practice. As an Egalitarian Conservative synagogue, we honor both the richness of our heritage and the evolving needs of modern Jewish life.
When you become a member, you are not only supporting the continuation of Jewish life in our community but also becoming part of a congregation that celebrates together in times of joy and supports one another in times of need. Members are invited to take part in all aspects of synagogue life—Shabbat and holiday worship, educational programs for all ages, life-cycle celebrations, cultural events, and opportunities for community service. Whether you are seeking a spiritual home, Jewish education for your children, or simply a sense of belonging, FCSI provides a place where you can connect with Jewish life and community.
Our community values the diversity of Jewish experience. Whether you are single or married, raising children or an empty-nester, a lifelong Conservative Jew or new to the movement, we welcome you. Families of all configurations, interfaith households, and individuals at every stage of life will find a place here. Becoming a member means adding your voice, your presence, and your story to the life of our congregation.
We invite you to tour our synagogue or come to a Shabbat Service, we think you’ll feel at home. If you have questions about membership, please call (904) 829-9532 or email us at fcsi1924@gmail.com and leave a message with your name, phone number and best time to reach you and one of our board members will get back with you.
